The biggest waste of animals' lives I've ever seen. And with regards to our petition, it WILL mean a hell of a lot when they give up fur, because INTERMIX is a nationally revered source of fashion inspiration. If they declare the trend unfashionable, others will follow. It's a big deal.

    THAT’S A THING!? Sorry, when that text said “bikini” I assumed they were selling a fur bikini, not turning a beaver into a fox. That’s just ridiculous and the fact that they are using faux fur doesn’t make it any better. It shouldn’t be allowed, full stop. If I ever was surprised by something like that, that chick would be, for lack of a better term, road kill.

    My point is not whether or not using fur is wrong (I think it is disgusting), it is that that trumpeting the success of a petition for a relatively small, unknown …ahem…procedure… for “a salon in NY” is a lot different than challenging a larger beast. Petitions just don’t scale well. Petitions aren’t what won the civil rights movement or woman’s suffrage.
